hi, am interested to apply for the post of Prison Officer. Am wondering if it would be easier for existing staff to put up a recommendation instead of applying online. I'm female.

A lot of people think they know what life inside a prison is like. They see portrayals on TV and in films, and imagine these are a true reflection of reality.
